There are three main departments within the Planning Service:
Development Control (including Conservation and Planning Enforcement)
Building Control
Policy, Landscape and Trees
| Development Control - The Development Control Team: |
| Gives advice on whether planning permission is needed |
| Gives advice about development before an application is submitted |
| Deals with planning and other applications submitted to the Council |
| Deals with planning appeals where permission has been refused |
| Discharges any conditions attached to a planning permission |
| Gives advice about developing listed buildings or sites within Conservation Areas |
